About me
어느덧 삶의 끝자락을 향해 가고 있는 나는
나의 정체성이 무엇인가를 생각하면
아마도 나만의 세계를 그려나가고 싶은
그림을 그리는 나의 모습인것 같다.
이제 딸의 격려와 도움으로
홈페이지를 만들게 되어 자극과 큰 힘이 되고 있다.
어릴 때부터 그림 그리는 것을 좋아하였고, 화가가 되고 싶었다.
삼사십대에는 수채화, 파스텔, 유화 등을 마음 가는 대로 그려보기도 하였고, 한때는 인물화 위주로 집중하여 그리기도 하였다.
이제는 그림 그리는 일이 하지 않으면 견딜 수 없는 충동으로 다가와 나의 일상으로 변해가고 있음을 느낀다.
10여 년 전 제주도에 정착하고부터는 더욱 강렬한 색깔, 나만의 색깔로 제주의 풍경 등을 그려나가고 있다.
As I approach the twilight of my life, when I reflect on my identity, I realize that it’s likely my desire to paint my own world—a reflection of myself as an artist.
Now, with the encouragement and help of my daughter, I am motivated and empowered to create a website.
From a young age, I loved drawing and always wanted to become an artist.
In my thirties and forties, I painted watercolors, pastels, and oils freely as my heart desired. At one point, I focused primarily on portrait painting.
Now, I feel that painting has become an irresistible impulse that I can no longer ignore, transforming into a part of my daily life.
Since settling in Jeju Island over 10 years ago, I’ve been creating even more vivid and intense works, capturing the island’s landscapes with colors that reflect my unique perspective.
